Isaac married first to Susan Holmes 01 Sep 1842 in Coshocton Co., OH.  Susan was born 03 Oct 1816 and died 05 Sep 1850 in Wabash Co., IN.  He met Cynthia and was in IL with her when the 1850 Census was taken.  Isaac married last to Mary Ellen Wood on 24 Jul 1851 in Schuyler Co., IL.  Isaac's parents were John Severns and Catharine Biggs.

55. Mary Ellen Wood was born 10 Jan 1830 in Coshocton Co. OH. She died 20 Dec 1910 in Marshall Co IN and was buried in Tippecanoe Cemetery, Marshall Co IN.  Mary's parents were Peter Wood/Woods and Hannah "Haney" Bradford.

The 1830 date is shown as her birthyear on the 1900 Census IN Marshall Co., Tippecanoe Twp., when she was living with George and Albina Martin.  Her tombstone, which she shares with Isaac Severns in Tippecanoe Cemetery, Marshall Co. IN shows her living 1830 ‑ 1910.  Her obituary printed in The Plymouth Weekly Democrat on Dec 29, 1910 shows her birthdate as Jan 10, 1830.  However ... Mary Ellen (Woods) (Severns) Kay's death certificate has age at death on Dec 20, 1910 as 81 years 11 months 10 days, which would have her birthday Jan 10, 1829, rather than Jan 10, 1830.   Based on the obituary, tombstone and census, probably the 1830 date is accurate.
